Our Medical Staff

Daisy Ann Matias, MD
Board certified in general family medicine, Dr. Matias attended the Fatima College of Medicine in Valenzuela City, Philippines. She received her post-graduate education in Baytown, Texas at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital, where she also served as Chief Resident.
Practicing since 2009, Dr. Matias has cared for patients at INTEGRIS Medical Group: Family Physicians of the Plains in Enid, Oklahoma. She also managed inpatients admitted to INTEGRIS Bass Hospital and provided primary care to veterans in northwest Oklahoma at the VA community-based outpatient clinic.

Sapna Shah-Haque, MD
Dr. Shah-Haque sees patients on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, plus two Saturdays per month.
She received her education at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Kansas City and University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita. Her internship and residency in internal medicine was at University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita.
Dr. Shah-Haque practices general medical care from 14 years of age and up, with an interest in internal medicine, preventative medicine and HIV.

Kimberley Adams-McDarty, APRN-BC
Board certified by the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center (ANCC). She graduated with a Bachelors’ and a Masters’ Degrees in Nursing from the University of Texas in Arlington.
She has worked in a hospital setting as a Registered Nurse, as well as a community health clinic. As a nurse practitioner, she worked in several Wichita clinical settings providing women’s health and family care practice. She joined Health Professionals of Winfield in 2004 and is delighted to be serving the health care needs of this community. Her passion is assisting patients in optimizing their health status in light of their existing health issues.

Angela Johnson, APRN
Angela completed her Bachelor’s in Nursing through the University of Texas at Arlington, and her Master’s through Regis College in Boston, Massachusetts. Angela is nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Angela has worked in many areas of nursing, which include working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, pediatrics, women’s health, long-term care, and wound care.
She was able to bring her well-rounded skills to Health Professionals of Winfield when she started working full time as a Family Nurse Practitioner in February of 2020. Angela thoroughly enjoys working with various age groups, from birth on up, to provide them with the compassionate health care services they deserve.

Laura Thielen, APRN
Laura began working as a nurse at William Newton Hospital in 2011, completing her preceptorships with local physician offices. In 2020, she earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Clarkson College and continued her professional career as a board-certified family nurse practitioner at William Newton Hillside Family Medicine. Two years later, Laura also started seeing patients at William Newton Pediatrics.
Laura resides in Arkansas City and is married with three young children ages eight, seven, and one.
